We would like to re-introduce Medicortex Finland Plc to You and the ongoing=
share issue campaign.
Medicortex is a Finnish biotechnology company dedicated to improving the di=
agnostics and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).=C2=A0
TBI refers to a damage of brain tissue caused by a hit to the head or a vig=
orous swing of the head. TBI remains a =E2=80=9Csilent epidemic=E2=80=9D du=
e to its low awareness among people =E2=80=93 it is still quite poorly reco=
gnized despite its relatively high prevalence. Today, there are no accurate=
, widely approved diagnostic tool to detect TBI. Moreover, currently used m=
ethods cannot detect mild TBI (mTBI) or concussion, which represents the hi=
ghest volume (up to 90%) of all TBI cases. Although mild, concussion or mTB=
I can cause long-term health challenges and decrease quality of life.=C2=A0
Medicortex aims to introduce a solution to this urgent need by developing a=
n easy-to-use diagnostic test for rapid detection of TBI, including mTBI an=
d concussion. The test is based on unique proprietary biomarkers, released =
as biodegradation products upon brain injury, which are detected from non-i=
nvasive samples (urine and saliva).
The company has a share issue campaign until 31 August 2023 during which fo=
