THE NEW TRUSTLAW PORTAL
Dear TrustLaw Members,
Following the valuable feedback you provided as part of our 2020-2021 nee=
ds assessment, the TrustLaw team embarked on an ambitious project to over=
haul our online platform. We are delighted to announce that the new and i=
mproved TrustLaw Portal will be launching next Friday, 29th September.
The new Portal is user-friendly with streamlined processes. You may have =
some questions on how this will affect you and we're here to provide the =
answers.
Why has the Portal been updated?
As part of our overall vision for the new Portal and based on your feedba=
ck, the new platform:
Offers a better, smarter service. Creating a more intuitive and personali=
sed user experience, accelerating access to legal support and ensuring pr=
o bono projects, which meet your needs, are easier to find. Centralises t=
he TrustLaw offering. Providing our members with a one-stop-shop for the =
entire TrustLaw service, including learning & resources, events, and FAQs=
=2E =E2=80=8B
What will be different in the new Portal?
Full details of all our new features will follow, but here=E2=80=99s a pr=
eview of some of the exciting new changes on the horizon:
A replacement of our email-heavy service delivery by allowing for in-Port=
al notifications, and ability to view and respond to outstanding action i=
tems.
A quick and easy way to get in touch with us through our Contact TrustLaw=
form, directing your queries straight to your dedicated account manager.=
A personalised weekly email of available opportunities, tailored to only =
show available pro bono projects which meet your set criteria.
Direct links from within the Portal to our tools and resources, including=
upcoming events and published legal research.
When will I lose access to the existing Portal?
Our existing member Portal will be inaccessible from Thursday 28th Septem=
ber at 5pm GMT to allow us to make the transition in time to go live, on =
Friday 29th September. As a result of the slight disruption to our online=
service, our legal members will have an additional working day to submit=
offers for projects with a deadline for responses of the 29th September.=

How will I access the new Portal?
We'll be in touch on launch day to announce that our new Portal is ready =

rtal will also be accessible through our website and through our weekly e=
mail of available opportunities for our legal members.
Will I have to register as a TrustLaw member again?
No, all existing accounts will be migrated over to the new platform. Your=
existing login details will still work, but we will be on hand to suppor=
t with any access issues. Your organisation's current and completed proje=
cts will also be accessible within the new Portal.
What support will be available to me?
The platform upgrade will provide an improved user experience, however we=
understand that there will still be questions and guidance needed. Membe=
rs will receive links to the following resources which we will also make =
available on our website:
User guides. Short step-by-step guides for accessing the support you need=
through the Portal.Walkthrough videos. Recorded tutorials showing the fe=
atures of the Portal from a member perspective.Troubleshooting sessions. =
Remote drop-in sessions via Teams for common issues or questions, with th=
e option to book a dedicated call with a member of our team for support w=
ith any specific questions or issues you might have. Issue reporting. A s=
hort and simple form should you come across any part of the Portal which =
doesn=E2=80=99t seem to be working as it should. What'=
s next?
