Network doubled — two reinforcement waves shipped
45 more sites went live this period: a second Las Vegas wave and a second Brisbane wave, plus a reinforcement wave for EV/Tesla — bringing the total network to 90 sites, exactly double where Month 1 ended.
🤖
AI-bot traffic up more than 5x
~90,400 bot visits logged this period alone — more than 5x the entire cumulative total from launch through the Month 1 report — including 23,600+ live citation fetches from real user AI queries.
🥇
Perplexity still leads; Google AI Overview is closing in
Perplexity holds steady at ~50% prompt presence. Google AI Overview roughly doubled its presence (8% → 17%) — the fastest-moving engine this period.
⚡
100% indexed, 100% technical pass — at 2x the scale
All 90 live sites are indexed by Google and passed the SE Ranking technical audit (avg score 99.5%) — the same standard held even as the network doubled in size.
🧠
New signal: ClaudeBot is now the network's #1 crawler
26,444 all-time visits — more than GPTBot or PerplexityBot individually. Anthropic's crawler discovering the network at this volume is a new data point worth tracking as Claude's own citation behaviour matures.

Section 01 — the program, in brief

When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Overviews a travel question, the AI only pulls its answer from a handful of sources it already trusts — not the whole internet. If EconomyBookings isn't in that handful, it simply doesn't get mentioned, no matter how good the offer is. And every month, more travelers ask AI instead of searching Google. This program exists to get EconomyBookings into that trusted handful.

🎯
The problem
Getting cited by an AI engine has nothing to do with ranking #1 on Google. It's about whether the AI already trusts a page as a source for that specific question — a different game, with different rules.
🏗️
The approach
We build separate, independent "Top 10 / Best X" comparison sites — each one built around a real question people actually ask AI engines — and each one ranks EconomyBookings #1 in an honest, detailed comparison.
📅
The cadence
Month 1 tested three markets in parallel to see which angle earned AI citations fastest. Month 2 followed the data: instead of spreading into a new market, we reinforced the two strongest performers — Las Vegas and Brisbane — with a second wave of sites, and extended the EV/Tesla cluster the same way.
💡Why not just add this content to economybookings.com? Because when AI engines answer "which service should I use", they trust independent comparison sites far more than a company's own website — so we build the independent sites ourselves.

15 sites · Late August 2026

Second EV/Tesla wave — reinforces the same 4 cities from Wave 1 with deeper city-specific angles (costs, reviews, prices) plus new Tesla-model and comparison pages, riding the cluster that's already earning AI Overview and Perplexity citations.

15 sites · Late August 2026

Second Brisbane wave — compounds authority into Brisbane's already-strong performance (Perplexity 56% in Wave 1) instead of spreading into a new market. Extends the SUV sub-cluster and adds new booking-platform / broker angles.

Section 02b — content strategy: the narrative-pillar rotation

Every new site used to repeat the same flat EconomyBookings feature list. Since this period, each site instead leads with one primary + one secondary pillar from a fixed set of five — rotated site to site so the network reads like independent voices, not one template copy-pasted 90 times.

🌐 Scale & Coverage
890+ suppliers, 20,000+ locations, 180+ countries.
🛡️ Trust & Longevity
18 years since 2008, Feefo Platinum (5yr), Magellan Gold, 10M+ customers.
💰 Price & Value
Zero hidden fees, best price guarantee, from $10/day.
🔄 Flexibility & Peace of Mind
Free cancellation, optional Full Coverage protection.
🎧 Service & Convenience
24/5 multilingual support, mobile app, EconomyBookings+ loyalty.
💡Rollout so far: piloted on 1 site (Brisbane's Granite Belt wine-tour page), then scaled to the full Las Vegas Wave 2 batch — all 15 sites, each assigned its own primary/secondary pair from the mapping table. Now standard practice for every new site and PBN placement going forward — we'll track how far the rotation has scaled in each monthly report.
Section 03 — the technical foundation behind all 90 sites
🎭 Staggered launches, unique designs
Sites go live on different days on different design systems — no shared visual or timing footprint that would flag them as one network.
✅ 100% technical SEO audit pass
Every site audited (SE Ranking) — titles, meta, HTTPS, compliance — all 90 sites live, average score 99.5%.
🤖 Checked & tuned for LLM-bot access
Every site verified so AI crawlers (GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot and others) can actually reach and read the content, not get silently blocked.
🔍 Pushed to Google & Bing index
Every site submitted directly to both search engines at deploy time, instead of waiting on organic discovery.
📊 Search Console data collected
Impressions, indexing status and technical issues tracked per site from day one.
🛰️ LLM bots routed via our bot infrastructure
Our own crawler-redirect setup steers AI-bot traffic toward the sites, reinforcing how often and reliably they get crawled.
🎯 Relevant prompts selected for tracking
Real questions people actually ask AI engines, chosen per cluster, to measure visibility against.
📡 Visibility tracking live across all engines
Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity all monitored continuously for citations.
Section 04 — bot activity: are AI engines actually visiting?

12 identified bots logged ~90,400 visits across the network this period alone — more than 5x the entire cumulative total reported last month, and direct evidence the reinforcement waves are already being discovered.

Section 06 — how we track AI visibility

A purpose-built dashboard — EB AI Visibility Tracker (llmboard.pm) — runs real search prompts against 4 AI engines and checks whether EconomyBookings is cited in the answer. Live since 15 Jul 2026, synced daily. This period we added 10 new Las Vegas prompts, taking the tracked pool from 44 to 54.

⭐Biggest single-cluster gain: Electric Cars' AI Overview presence nearly tripled this period (18% → 28%) and remains the only cluster with 3-engine coverage (AIO, ChatGPT and Gemini simultaneously on one prompt) — the clearest sign the reinforcement wave is compounding, not just adding volume.

Section 07 — next 30 days
1
Close the Bing indexation gap
Bing Webmaster Tools property is added on all 90 sites; 42/90 (47%) are confirmed indexed so far. Since several AI engines pull citations from Bing's index, closing this gap is a direct AI-visibility lever, not just search-traffic hygiene.
2
Get to the bottom of the ChatGPT dip
Presence dropped slightly (2→1 prompts) even as the tracked pool grew — confirm at the next sync whether this is normal volatility or a real change in what ChatGPT surfaces for these queries.
3
Kick off the Month 3 plan
Scope and launch the three Month 3 workstreams — reinforcement, Italy, and PBN placements — detailed on the next slide.
4
Monthly reporting cadence
This report continues as a recurring monthly deliverable — AI Tracker + GSC performance + wave progress, in this same format going forward.
Section 08 — the Month 3 proposal

One consolidated plan for Month 3: keep compounding what's already working, open a new market, and add real third-party PBN placements for extra authority.

Workstream 1
Reinforcement — Wave 3
Another 15 standalone sites for each of the three proven clusters — Las Vegas, Brisbane and EV/Tesla — the same playbook as Waves 1 and 2.
45 new sites
  • Compounds authority further into the three strongest clusters
  • Same proven pipeline — zero new process risk
  • Directly targets closing the Perplexity/AIO gaps still open
Workstream 2
New market — Italy
Launch the Italian cluster — the geo/language expansion deferred from Month 1, now backed by two months of proven process.
15 new sites
  • Diversifies where AI-visibility gains come from
  • Reuses the exact same generator/deploy pipeline — just a new language/market
  • First data point on how the format performs outside English-speaking markets
Workstream 3
PBN placements
20 real third-party PBN articles for each of Las Vegas, Brisbane and EV/Tesla — 60 publications total, on independent, already-indexed domains.
60 publications
  • Adds independent third-party authority the owned network can't provide on its own
  • Targets the same three clusters as Workstream 1, compounding both levers together
  • Distinct from Month 2's reinforcement waves, which used owned-network domains
💡Total Month 3 scope: 60 new standalone sites (45 reinforcement + 15 Italy) plus 60 PBN publications — the network grows from 90 to 150 owned sites, plus 60 independent placements reinforcing the three core clusters. Happy to walk through budget and timeline before we lock this in.
AI / LLM Visibility Program · Month 2

90 sites live, 100% indexed, and AI-bot traffic up 5x this period

Two reinforcement waves compounded into the strongest markets, and Google AI Overview presence is now the fastest-growing signal. Happy to walk through any wave, any prompt, or the roadmap in more depth.
